Clark - North Routt

17 miles north on Routt County Road 129 takes you up the Elk River Valley to Clark.  While not actually a town, Clark is a community hub for North Routt.  The famous Clark Store, a one stop shop for groceries, restaurant, bakery, cafe, liquor, library, souvenirs, Post Office, summer ice cream stand and summer weekend home to Clyde’s Pies.  

8 miles further north is the historic village of Hahn’s Peak.  Gold miners from around the world flocked to Hahn’s Peak Village in the 1860’s.  The town was then the county seat for Routt County.  Since those heady days, the village has dwindled to just a few homes.  

There are multiple developments in the surrounding areas of Clark and Hahn’s Peak Village.  Properties range from homes on 0.25 acres up to massive ranches with over 1,000 acres.  

This are is known for beautiful scenery with lakes, aspen trees and mountains.  There are 2 State Parks -  Pearl Lake and Steamboat Lake.  The entire area is surrounded by U.S. National Forest Lands.  North Routt is a fabulous recreational paradise.
