Oak Creek

Oak Creek is a small town 20 miles southwest of Steamboat Springs.  Originally a mining town, Oak Creek is now a laid-back town with a population of around 1,000 people.  There are multiple restaurants and shops in town.  The town is surrounded by large ranches and U.S. Forest Service land.  

8 miles to the east is Stagecoach Lake State Park with a myriad of recreation activities.  (Stagecoach Area)
